The data in Cyberday is backed up in two different ways. Backups are kept in the same region (EU) as the database, but in physically separate locations.
Continuous backups
The database and all changes made to its content are continuously and automatically replicated for the last four (4) days. With this, the database can be cloned and restored to any point in time from this time interval if needed.
Automated daily backups
A daily backup is automatically taken from the database so that, if necessary, data can be restored to a previous point in time or selectively retrieved from a previous backup. The latter situation may be necessary, for example, if the user has accidentally deleted data and does not notice this immediately.
