We have updated the process for registering leads or deals in the Cyberday Partner Portal. This adjustment ensures a smoother connection between customer data and our partner ecosystem, solving challenges like incomplete customer links when only mentioned in a meeting. Here’s how it works now:

New Lead Submission Process

To register a customer as a lead/deal, you can now subscribe them to the Cyberday newsletter via a specific form provided in the partner portal. This ensures that the customer’s details are linked properly to you as their partner.

  1. Send the Subscription Invitation
    • Use the designated subscription form in the portal to submit the customer’s email.
  2. Customer Approval Email
    • The customer will receive an email informing them that their trusted partner (you) has suggested subscribing to the Cyberday newsletter.
    • The email will include a request for the customer’s explicit approval.
  3. Approval Required
    • The customer must approve the subscription before they can be officially registered as your lead or deal in the portal.
    • If the customer does not approve the subscription, the lead cannot be validated or linked to you.
    • If the customer does not actively approve the subscription via the link/button in the email, the customer will not be set as a subscriber.

Why This Change Was Necessary

We wanted to ensure better traceability and clarity when connecting customers to partners within our system. Previously, it was difficult to match customers to specific partners without a clear action or confirmation from the customer. This updated process eliminates those challenges and ensures leads are properly verified.
